Il mwbgmwbwsubphylum (pl.: mwcasubphyla) è una categoria mwcqtassonomica, utilizzata in mwcgbiologia per la mwcwclassificazione scientifica delle forme di vita, rappresentante un mwdataxon gerarchicamente inferiore al mwdqphylum e superiore alla mwdgclasse. In mwdwzoologia viene spesso usato come sinonimo il termine mweasottotipo, mentre in mweqbotanica la tradizione vuole la sua sostituzione con la parola mwegsottodivisione.

Nella classificazione delle mwfapiante e delle mwfqalghe, il nome di un subphylum è identificabile grazie al suffisso mwfg-phytina. Nel mwfwregno dei mwgafunghi si aggiunge invece il suffisso mwgq-mycotina. Per il mwggregno animale non esiste una precisa convenzione di nomenclatura (mwgwCrustacea, mwhaUniramia, mwhqVertebrata etc.)
